Quiet Move Club

Club funds

Other clubs collect subscriptions; this one may collect partner fees. Here is how they work and where they stop.

Quiet Move Club charges its readers nothing. It intends to cover its costs through partner programmes run by platform owners: when you open an account through a partner button on this site, the owner of that platform may pay the club a fee. Nothing is added to your bill, and the platform behaves exactly the same.

What a fee cannot move

  • The order of the catalogue, which runs from the purest chess to the widest tabletop library.
  • A verdict, a strength or a weak point in any review.
  • Advice to look elsewhere: if a platform will not suit you, we still say so, fee or no fee.

Spotting a partner button

Partner codes can only sit on the buttons that open a platform’s official site. Under each of them you will find a small note: partner link if it carries a code, straight link if it goes to the platform untouched. In the page code these buttons are also marked as sponsored, which search engines understand. Nothing else on the club’s pages leads to a partner.

What does not change

The club still sets no cookies, counts no visitors and shows no adverts. The only thing a platform learns from a partner visit is that the visitor walked over from the club.
